November 4, 10:30 PM update: I have closed RSVPs for this Meetup.
Are you ready for Thanksgiving? :-) We will have a Meetup again this year at the Triangle Vegetarian Society's vegan Thanksgiving feast at Cafe Parizade in Durham. Our group will be seated during the 12:00 and 12:30 arrival times. See the TVS Thanksgiving webpage for more details about the event, including prices and the tentative menu.
Please read the entire description below.
If you will be attending the event, but are not planning to sit with the Meetup group, please DO NOT RSVP here. If you are attending the event, but can't come at 12:00 or 12:30, please DO NOT RSVP here.
A YES RSVP to this event does NOT guarantee you a seat at the event! In order to come to the event and sit with the Meetup group, you will also need to make a reservation and payment through the TVS website before our reservation times fill up. I have listed the steps to follow below, which will give you the best chance of sitting with the group.
You must reserve early with TVS to increase the chances that there will be space in the 12:00 or 12:30 arrival times. I recommend making your reservation ASAP after reservations open.
Here are the steps which will give you the best chance to sit with us:
1) RSVP "Yes" on this page.
2) Once reservations open on Saturday at 9:00 AM, make an online reservation through the TVS Thanksgiving website and choose either the 12:00 or 12:30 arrival time for the Thanksgiving Day seating at Cafe Parizade.
3) Important - While on the reservation form, under the question "Enter any notes, questions, or requests...", please enter "Triangle Vegetarian/Vegan Meetup group" in the box. Please also include your Meetup name in this box.
4) Make your payment (credit card or check).
5) Show up hungry at Cafe Parizade on Thanksgiving Day. :-)
This event is cross-posted with the Triangle Vegan Social Club meetup, and our two groups will be seated together at the same tables. If you're a member of both Meetups, please only RSVP to one of them.
Please let me know what questions you have!
