Introduction
Hi! I moved to the area in Oct 2006 from Richmond, Virginia. I'm looking forward to meeting more local veg*ns and better getting to know the area's veg-friendly restaurants.
If yes, how long have you been a vegetarian/vegan?
I've been vegetarian since Thanksgiving 1990 and vegan since about 2003.
What would you like to do with/get from this group?

Vegetarian or a vegan? Why?
I often describe myself as veganish. I try to be vegan, but I am certainly not perfect. I am veg first and foremost for the animals. The benefit to the environment and my health is just (vegan) frosting on the cake!

"I am desperately seeking a local place that has Vietnamese fried tofu the way they make it in Richmond - especially lemongrass tofu and a tofu noodle bowl. Email if you can help! : ) "
