I'm Leslie. I'm a longtime vegetarian and have been active in animal rights and environmental causes. I enjoy hiking, camping, dog walks, canoing and other outdoor activities. I'm interested in meeting other vegetarians and vegans.

I've been a vegetarian for about 30 years.

I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian, primarily out of concern for animals and the environment.

"I think a lot of the critiques and teasing of vegetarians is really an expression of discomfort by the meat eaters. Having a vegetarian around is a reminder of the unpleasant aspects of farming and killing animals...."

"I just read about a new vegetarian restaurant in today's N&O (11/11/09): Cafe Curryleaves in Morrisville. It's Indian, but they also have paninis, veggie burgers, subs and wraps for lunch. And they offer breakfast on Sat & Sun...."
