Re: [vegetarian-98] New Meetup: April Bright Palace Dinner Meetup

The food in Beijing was very much like BP but without the fake meats and less mushroom. But the veggies were very similar. In Wuhan, where I am now, the food is totally different and I am missing Beijing some!

Announcing a new Meetup for Triangle Vegetarian & Vegan Meetup!

What: April Bright Palace Dinner Meetup

When: April 17,[masked]:45 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: It's time for another dinner at Bright Palace, the all-vegetarian Asian restaurant in Cary!

Bright Palace offers a variety of Asian cuisines with both tofu and fake meats. There is a thread on the message board entitled Bright Palace - What have you tried. I encourage you to check it out for recommendations and add your thoughts to it after you eat there. You can also check out the menu at

~~~ As always, please practice courtesy and consider your RSVP carefully. There is planning involved for the person organizing any meetup and it is difficult when people frequently change their RSVP at the last minute - in addition to not being fair to others when an event is full. Let's also be good neighbors to the restaurant. We want them to welcome us back and give us great food and service - this becomes difficult when we say, for example, that we have a party of 12 and 6 people show up. If you need to change your plans, please practice courtesy and do so as soon as you know, not one day before or day of the event. This last minute change should be reserved for emergency things that pop up. That said, I hope you can make it and have a great meal with wonderful company!
If you are the type of person to take leftovers home, I urge you to bring your own reusable container from home. As veg*ns, we can be examples in the environmental movement as well!
