hi dr shinar - i'm a 50 year old scalp puller who has been suffering sine about 9 years old. i have stopped pulling for 1 year 11 months, buti still and will always need support for this monhste of a disorder. i will never get too comfortable thinking i have conquered this, because i know how fast i can undo all the good i have done. any insight you can give on support groups in westchester county or any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated - thanks - ann marie

Dr. Ori- I have suffered from TTM for years & lately it has gotten out of control. I know I need therapy but I dont want to waste my time or money BSing with some psycologist like I have done in the past & has not helped. I am not aganist therapy, but I want to be in therapy with someone who specializes in my disorder, TTM. I currently live in PA, not far from trenton NJ. I grew up in staten island and can easily come to NYC & know it well. This site is great. Hope 2 find support thru it thx
