TriPython March 2014 Meeting: Brython

To get full and timely notifications of all TriPython events and discussions, subscribe to the TriPython email list at http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/trizpug. Full information about TriPython is available on the website at http://trizpug.org.

Francois Dion, founder of the Piedmont Triad Python Users Group, will present Brython, the Python interpreter for HTML5 browsers.

Lightning talks, 5 to 10 minutes extemporaneous expositions on a topic of interest to you, something you recently learned, kind of like a show and tell, are always welcome as well. Please see the parking instructions on the BCC website. A wide variety of possibilities for the after-meeting are within steps of BCC.

Great presentation on Brython. This project has really come a long way since its inception. Good work!

How long will this talk be? Is this one of the lightning talks mentioned in the text?

    • Chris C.

Advertized talks are featured talks, not lightning talks. The length depends on the speaker, but normally anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes. Lightning talks are unplanned and unannounced in advance.

Thanks! I'm very interested in the talk, but I wasn't going to spend an hour in the car for only 15 minutes!
