Durham Book Discussion of "Designing for Emotion"

The votes are in! We're meeting up in Durham in mid-to-late October to discuss "Designing for Emotion" by Aaron Walter, available at A Book Apart: http://www.abookapart.com/products/designing-for-emotion/. I'm excited about this selection and think it'll make for some great discussion.

About the book:

Make your users fall in love with your site via the precepts packed into this brief, charming book by MailChimp user experience design lead Aarron Walter. From classic psychology to case studies, highbrow concepts to common sense, Designing for Emotion demonstrates accessible strategies and memorable methods to help you make a human connection through design.

The entrance to the school is slightly north of the lot across the crosswalk. The elevator to the 5th floor, which is where we'll be meeting, will be to the left right after you walk inside, but you'll need to have Dorian or myself with you so we can swipe you up to the floor after hours. In case we're not down there, we'll leave a sign posted with our cell numbers on it.

    See you all tomorrow!

Sorry if you're all getting spammed updates, but I changed the date from the 25th to the 11th so as to not conflict with Refresh or TriUXPA's webinar, which are already competing on the 25th.

I'm planning to bring Diet Coke (with Splenda) and some water and maybe cookies or something else really light. Any snack donations are appreciated but not necessary. I prefer to keep the event free since you're likely paying for the book already anyway, but snacks brought for the group won't be turned down!
