The Tropic Times Panama Canal Zone Cafe meetups are for good times first, so there will be plenty of Panamanian food, drink, music and talk. There is no charge for attending, only for consuming!
In addition, we'll trade stories about he Canal Zone days, the history of the Canal and its future, and business and retirement news about Panama today.
There will be a lunch and a dinner for the first meetup. Feel free to come anytime. The lunch meetup starts at noon with a Panama lunch and a presentation on Panama and the Canal today. The lunch will be $35. Menu will be known by mid September.
The dinner meetup will begin at 7:00 PM and a Panama dinner will be available. We'll talk about the Panama and the Canal again, and we'll also have some live Panamanian acoustic guitar! The dinner will be $55. Menu will be known by mid September.
Many items and photos from the Canal Zone days will be on display; feel free to bring your own!
