The Whitney - Detroit Restaurant Week

Detroit Restaurant Week returns April 11th - April 20th.  The Whitney mansion was built in 1894.  Home of the lumber baron David Whitney Jr, was turned into a high-end restaurant in 1986.  For $30 dollars per person, each member attending will have their choices from the above menu.  Remember this price does not include drinks, tax, or tips.  Sorry, they will allow only 6 max attending  for separate checks.

Please update your rsvp!

Separate checks have been approved.

There is parking directly across from the Whitney.

This old mansion is stunning and well worth the visit. My Shrimp Bisque was just average and my prime rib was medium when I ordered medium rare, but everything else was very good. Nice seeing you again Tammy and Dax!

I just heard from the Whitney. They wanted us to know that the only menu we can order from is the restaurant week menu.

Although very tempting, try to avoid using the Valet parking at the Whitney. They charge $11 (not including tip)!

I see the web link where they mention $8 evening, but for some reason they charged me $11 (last summer.)
