Spring Wine dinner at Gaucho’s Steak House in Northville. If you’ve never been there, or to a “Brazilian Steak House”, you absolutely owe it to yourself to give it a try. For $42 a person, it’s the absolute best deal we can give you on these dinners. This is not only a dinner, but also a wine tasting event for less than the price for a regular dinner here. Pete is the wine consultant who will be showing off all his delicious wines he has for sale. You don't have to buy any of the bottles of wine he sells, but I bet you won't be able to resist buying at least one bottle.
We are limited to no more than 20 people, rsvping on this meetup does not confirm you a spot, you must contact Pete at [masked] to reserve your spot.

They need a credit card to reserve any seats but the card is not run until after the dinner. You can pay by check or cash at the restaurant but once you reserve any seats, please be sure that you know that you are then committed to paying regardless of attendance. NO REFUNDS Do not sign up until you know you will attend!!

While we do intend to structure the wine and food pairings, the format for this function will vary slightly from those of the past.

Initially, we suggest a visit to the “Salad Bar”, encouraging you to select items that will accent off-dry white wines and mild reds.

The strolling “Gauchos” will be serving 12 different skewered meats to your table for you to enjoy, as much as you desire. Your Wine Consultant will pour you a series of wines to best accommodate your entree choices.

Sampling the food and wine was a great idea, had a great time. Loved the salad part. But I have to say, for the money we paid, I expected all the meat to be exceptional but some (not all) such as the ribs, were very dry.

As far as I know, I believe the reservations are now closed. But if you're seriously interested in still trying to attend, you can always try calling Pete to see if he can fit you in. I personally cannot help in that situation. Just a FYI
