Indoor Go-Karting!! @ Pole Position, Jersey City

Electric go-karts with instant torque and 45mph top speeds... this place knocks the socks off any gas powered place I've been to!! And with electronically matched performance, this is probably the closest contest of driver skill possible! May the best man/woman strut away victorious... with no mention of "fresh tires" or "clean laps" please... (you know who you are ;)

None of the typical fumes or gasoline/oil spills to slow the action either. Do your part for a green future!

Ok speaking of green, you gotta pay to play here... Damages will be as follows:

Temporary Race License...... $5 (good for one week)
Per Race Charge.................. $25

Or you can choose among the various membership packages, which become a good value the more you race. Some of us went for the "Annual Membership" which is:

Annual Membership Fee........ $55 (includes one free race 1st day, also free race during birthday month, and ability to purchase up to five races for $15 each on 1st day)
Per Race Charge................... $20 ($5 discount from non-member price)

If you arrive early you can register a user name (which will be shown on the big projector screen with lap times during our races) and enter your driver's license number / sign the waiver on the row of iPads near the entrance. Everybody has to do this, takes a few minutes per person.

Hope to see y'all in Jersey City, and we'll figure out something for food and drinks after!

I heard the driver with the slowest lap time buys everyone else steaks wrapped in bacon... and beer. But not bitter beer.

There might be some places around Trenton / Philly that have go-karts too. These types of places seem to be sprouting up in more and more cities now!
