Glen Onoko Falls is an amazingly beautiful area. This hike involves one somewhat difficult hill climb then it is just pure beauty. Once we get on top of the mountain we will check out the overviews before trying to find an alternate path off of the ridge
RSVP Instructions: If you wish to attend this event please join the wait list and contact me directly either by email or private message. I must be selective with attendance due to nature of this hike.
Objective: To find another path down from the Ridgeline to the D&L trail which we will walk back to our parking lot making one big loop. Instead of tracking back to the almost the Falls Trail to take the Switchback down.
D/T: ~10 miles/~6 hours
Difficulty: This is meant to be exploratory, meaning it's likely we will get twisted up and have to do a little extra work. This is not meant for people's first trip.
Directions from the Northeast Extension:
Follow it up to the Mahoning Valley. Exit #74.
Keep following 209 South
All the way through town, then
Take 903 north across the river
At stop sign stay straight instead of following road.
Then there should be signs on left that say Glen Onoko Access point
Follow this driveway about a quarter mile back to the D&L Trail parking lot.
You will cross a wooden bridge, we'll park somewhere in this lot on this side.
