From the group founder:

"I love hiking and everything outdoors but lately I find myself persuading friends to go and do stuff with me simply because it is not their kind of thing. That leaves me not doing as much of the hiking I want to do because it's better to do these things with other people. Anyway, my search for people to do these things with led me here only to find most of the groups are filled with members who are older than me."

So that is how this group came to be!

Any outdoor adventure will be game, including local hikes, weekend backpacking trips/road trips, winter hikes/trips, kayaking, rock climbing, skiing, etc.

So here's the scoop:

1.  Anybody in their 20's (students, grads, etc.) can join!  Yes, we request your age to make it easier to decide if you meet this requirement (you must be approved).

2.  All members can suggest meetup ideas!  Ideas are highly encouraged and expected.  One "official" organizer can't keep 500 people busy!

3.  Once the meetup has a date and place specified, it will be announced to the rest of the group.  Only "Event Organizers" can make these announcements.
