The Son (Le Fils) (2002) will be screened as part of the Ethics Film Series in collaboration with Duke’s Screen/Society. The theme of the 2013 Ethics Film Series is “Love and Justice.” In this award-winning Belgian-French mystery film, themes of compassion and justice unfold in unexpected ways. When a new student applies to join his class, Olivier initially refuses but then secretly begins following the boy.
The film will begin at 7:00 pm in the Griffith Film Theater in Duke University’s Bryan Center, followed by a post-film discussion with faculty.
The screenings are free and open to the public. Refreshments and free parking passes provided. Please park in the parking deck by the Bryan Center. You will be given a pass to submit to the attendant upon leaving the event.
