Likely last chance: It's Not You, It's Me, Director Q&A to follow

Director Nathan Ives is on tour with his movie It's Not You, It's Me, and he's got one more date in the Triangle, at the Varsity on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I'll be the host for our group at this showing. Showtime is 7:00, so I listed the meetup start as 6:45 to give us time to gather, chat, and find our seats. The rest is edited from his announcement for the previous showing:

I'll be on hand for a Q&A after. Love to see you there, information about the film and my travels are below. Please reserve a seat at, this will guarantee you a seat. Thanks!

My name is Nathan Ives. I'm an Asheville, NC native and indie filmmaker. I recently wrote and directed 'It's Not You, It's Me,' an edgy, fun, relationship comedy starring Vivica Fox (Kill Bill 2), Joelle Carter (Justified), and Ross McCall (Band of Brothers).

You can check out the trailer at and a recent NPR interview I did at

I'm doing a grassroots tour of the southeast doing 'pay what you want' screenings at local theaters. Basically it's a free screening, I do a Q&A after, and pass a hat.

Clever, laugh-out-loud dialogue and premise; big-budget talent in a low-budget production. This one is well worth supporting, everyone. If you didn't see it, you can buy the DVD online at amazon. Thanks for giving us another crack at this little gem, Mark. I'm so glad we didn't miss it!

Have to bail. Too much driving (70 miles RT) for my old eyes on a "dark and rainy night".

So glad he's doing this again. I've heard great things from those who saw it the first two times!
