On the eve of the Fourth, let's honor the French contribution to the American Revolution by watching this French movie about a 40-year-old father of two who has always found life very complicated. When the mother of his children moves to New York, he can't bear them growing up far away from him and so he decides to move there as well. Staring Romain Duris (Molière and Heartbreaker), Audrey Tautou (Amélie), Cecile De France (Kid with a Bike) and Kelly Reilly (Me and Orson Wells and Black Box). Written and directed by Cédric Klapisch (L'Auberge Espagnole, Russian Dolls and Paris).
This is the third movie in the Spanish Apartment trilogy but it stands on its own.
Showtime is 6:50 so I'm listing the start time as 6:30, but you don't really need to get there quite that early. Look for me in a red and blue shirt with white sneakers.
