Indie/Foreign Film Recommendation - The Intouchables

Cary, NC
Post #: 612
A friend and I went to see the French movie, The Intouchables, on Sunday and it was quite good. Although I originally saw the trailer at one of the art theaters, this is only currently showing at the Park Place 16 theater in Morrisville. (The plus side is all Carmike theaters offer a $5.50 ticket deal for all movies that start between 4:00-5:30, including weekends.)

The acting was great and for a theme that is literally "After he becomes a quadriplegic from a paragliding accident, an aristocrat hires a young man from the projects to be his caretaker." it is amazingly funny, light-hearted and uplifting. And it is all based on a true story.

Go here to learn more and watch the trailer:
