Re: [marketing-213] When was the last time this group met in person?

Hi Tyler..

I went to a meet up at the Marriot Hotel in Sherman Oaks on Ventura--we all met at the lounge and it worked perfectly.  I don't think there was a fee. If you are on the west side, there has to be a Marriot or other hotel where we can meet for free. So think 'Marriot'. Hope this helps.

March was the last time we had a meetup - I was hosting at my downtown office, but we got booted because our landlord failed to inform us that he didn't have an occupancy permit.  I am now splitting my time between my New York office (obviously no good), my office at Clear Channel (who won't allow us to use the space) and my home (my wife would kill me) - so I asked the group two months in a row to suggest alternative locations, I got no responses.  Honestly running the group is a drain on me without much benefit at this point - I love being a resource for people but can't pay to host this group.  As I mentioned in my email today, I am looking to merge our group with another more established online entertainment group in LA.  They charge per meeting (which I never wanted to do), but hey, they have a roof over their heads when they meet.  If you have any specific suggestions I would love to hear them, sorry for the late notice on the change .

Regards,

Tyler Malin

I became a member of the group in March, but have yet to attend a meeting because we are undecided about the location. If we are truely postponing the meeting until Sept 30th, can we at least get confirmation on exactly where that meeting will take place so it actually has a chance of happening? It just doesn't make a lot of sense to have a meetup group that never meets.

Thanks,
Tim
