The Awesome New and Improved August Meetup: Speakers Updated

From: Tyler M.
Sent on: Thursday, August 14, 2008 1:11 PM
Hi All,

I wanted to update you on speakers for the evening:

1) "Introduction and Welcome" by Tyler Malin (SecretFunTime/erockster) and Drew Baldwin (Tubefilter) Meetup Organizers.

2) "A Word From our Sponsor" by Tubefilter. Tubefilter is "a destination for discovery. A place to find the best shows on the web and who is making them. It doesn?t matter if it?s independent, semi-independent or studio-produced ? if it?s good we?ll help you find it."

3) "Producing for a Major" by Sandeep Parikh CEO of effinfunny.com and creator of "Legend of Neil". Sandeep will talk to the group about the ups and downs of working with a major distributor and lessons he learned through the production of Legend of Neil which he created for Atom/Viacom/Comedy Central.

4) "Working with the Screen Actors Guild Online" by Bob Jensen SAG Business Rep, Nayla Wren, SAG Lead Organizer and Steve Graham, Director of Online Casting. The SAG crew will talk about the Guild's outreach efforts in the online world and how independent producers can easily work with Guild talent in their online productions.

We also have offers out to two other speakers who may join us, but already this is a great night of informative talk and an fantastic opportunity to network with working professionals in the area of online content production. So if you were on the fence about coming, hopefully the level of talent we have brought together will help coax you to the event, oh... and we have free beer.

Warm Regards,

Tyler Malin
