Everyone is looking to improve their health. “Health” includes physical, mental, spiritual, humor, emotional and psychic balance. In these times we need access to as many skilled Healing Practitioners as possible. Those who use their natural gifts to help themselves and others do their own sacred 'healing'.

To this end,  it is time once again for ISA's Shamanic Healing Practitioner Training.

Dates for this series are:  6 Saturdays November 9 (2013), December 14, January 11 (2014), February 8, March 8 and April 12  10am-4:30pm.  Participation in all sessions is expected.

This introductory workshop is for those who feel called to be a healing practitioner, yet have not yet worked with others, or are not sure the nature of their practice. Also, for those who have some experience working with others with modalities of preference, yet are ready for more experience face to face with ‘clients’ to hone their gifts (or to try out some new ones). It is open to those who are drawn to the shamanic arts (shamanic journeying, soul recovery, divination), as well as any other kind of healing modality (Including intuitive readings, energy work, storytelling, psychic work, and combos of all). This workshop introduces the subjects in the 6 part series, so you can see if it is a good fit for you.

Becoming a Healing Practitioner is about Listening, and Practice, Practice, Practice, so this meeting will offer an opportunity to share individual and group consultations and healing experiences. Quynn will offer guidance from her experience working with others in individual sessions, group workshops and intuitive readings. She is offering this circle because our culture needs more confident and experienced healing practitioners.

In this introduction you will explore:

*How to trust the guidance you receive for/about others

*How to decipher what comes to you in a session and in everyday life

*How to read your own reactions to people with whom you are working

*The art of holding space

*How to feel confident in your own guidance while sitting with someone you do not know

As you gain confidence you can:

*Magnetize your abilities

*Utilize your various healing gifts

*Work with like-minded “clients”

*Co-Create the role of “healing practitioner” to suit your personality and culture

*Plant seeds for future spiritual growth

*Receive guidance about how to “put yourself out there”

This one time workshop begins 10am and will end at 1pm.

The cost for this introductory workshop is sliding scale $25-$40 (half of the sliding scale for training sessions).
This workshop and series is designed for those who want to incorporate this training into their professional skill set.  It is assumed that participants will potentially receive donations/money and compensation related to what they learn here.

There is a possibility of a partial scholarship, so if you feel called to this introductory session and cannot afford $25, contact Quynn.

More info about supplies to bring will be given to those who sign up.

"Thank you for creating the space for me/us to PRACTICE..... I know that I wouldn't be practicing on people without your encouragement and you having this class.”

“Quynn, as always, conjures an outstanding circle. The energy channeled through her drumming touches people, myself included, and provides safety that is heard and felt in all the connected worlds.”  Stephen in Tucson

"The Shamanic Training series helped me to string together the pieces in my life that I now better perceive as Gifts, and provided the space to explore them.  Due to this series I feel more confident in my ability to connect with my Spirit Guides and am ambitious to continue exploring the lessons that the Spirits hold for me."

"Quynn's Shamanic Practitioner workshop series has expanded my repertoire for my healing practice and helped me feel more comfortable using the shamanic techniques I have learned.  It also helped me to realize how at home I feel incorporating shamana into my life's work."

"I am grateful for this course as it has helped me to build confidence.  Being in this space is a relief because it is a place where I feel I can express the "unknown" without prejudice and judgment, and that is refreshing."

"I loved all of the stages of this program and the transformation that we all experienced.  Every time we gathered for another day of journeying and sharing, it seemed like it was an orchestra of Spirits shaping and shifting our energies, putting us through powerful initiations."

"I would recommend an ISA training to anyone seeking to develop their shamanic arts.  We all have gifts or talents in this area and Quynn is so adept at helping us to realize this.  The sessions gave us many opportunities to practice and develop our skills.  Quynn facilitates sessions that are respectful, safe and supportive of all participants.  They are quite affordable and so worthwhile."
