Shamanic cultures throughout the world recognize the evolution and continuity of spirit from the physical into the non-physical. This evolution is a natural life process. However, it is well understood that this process can be disrupted and disrupting. Spirits thus become earthbound. Shamanism’s ancient role is to assist in the evolutionary life process and bring energetic balance into the lives of those who experience imbalance.
"Now this day you have ceased to see daylight.
Think only of what is good."
A Foxes (Lake Winnebago) tribal chant to the spirit of the dead.
Individually each of us may have had or continue to have profound experiences with earthbound spirits, ghosts and other more evolved spirit forms. Such experiences tend to reshape our reality and personal underlying beliefs about life and death. In this meetup, we will open up this gathering with the sharing of experiences and lead the discussion into the energetic nature of earthbound spirits. As with all shamanic inquiry, such sharing is meant to be energetically purposeful as knowledge coming into being. Come with your stories, an open mind and heart, or just come to hear and learn. If the dynamic of the gathering allows it, we may offer a prayer, invocation, or guided shamanic journey.
This gathering is led by Phil Cash Cash. Spirit or heart guided donations (commonly $5 or more) are always welcome to help support ISA and its outreach.
