Meet the TYP Board - Mixer

Come mix and mingle with the TYP board!

TYP Board Members

Caroline Bowen – Caroline was not only a highly competitive triathlete while living in Chicago, but she has a strong background in music as well. She is now happy to call Tucson home!.

Jeff Ell – While Jeff was recently elected one of Tucson’s most eligible bachelors, this Tucson enthusiast has not always been desert resident. Jeff Ell was born and raised in Indianapolis, but after moving to Tucson, he quickly realized the painted deserts and inviting community made the area the perfect place for him to hone his cycling skills and build his career as real estate broker at Ell Real Estate Team.

Jessica Celentano – As native Tucsonan, Jess has a deep love for the Southwest.  Growing up on a farm, she learned quickly that it takes a team to succeed and helping others was in her blood.  Since then, Jess has partnered with many non-profits lending a helping hand where ever she can.  Currently Jess is the Division Director for March of Dimes, helping Southern Arizona moms have full term pregnancies and healthy babies.  She spends her free time volunteering for many local non-profits and wrangling her 6 nieces and nephews.

Danielle Duarte – Danielle Duarte, native Tucsonan is a networking goddess during the day and geek at heart any other time. She is a 2003 graduate from Eller College with her BS in MIS and Business Management. This[masked] under 40 recipient contributes through her leadership and activism with several organizations to better the Tucson community. She is passionate about recruiting and attracting people to the desert. As the creating force behind the Alliance initiative for TYP Danielle aspires to help cultivate a young vibrant culture in the Tucson area. She is a true connector linking up people, groups and events for fun! When she is not working for a cause or for a client she is a mother of two. Married to her high school sweetheart, Vince Duarte, Danielle keeps her family and friends close always remembering that life is short and that we need to happy for everything and everyone that comes into our lives! She loves to travel, watch movies, play games and just hang out & enjoy our beautiful sunsets!

Evan Feldhausen – Evan grew up in Tucson, went to college in LA, but moved back when he realized that Southern Arizona was truly home. When he’s not crunching numbers and doing tax consulting at BeachFleischman, you can find him on his bike, on the tennis courts, or drinking beverages with friends.

Jessica Galow – Jessica is constantly networking and volunteering her time at non-profits throughout Tucson. You probably see her dressed in business clothes and high heels, but she'd rather be reaching the summit of any of the amazing hiking trails in Sabino Canyon. Jessica has a great appreciation for the desert flora & fauna and just loves spending time hiking and trail running in the canyon.

Katie Grogan – Katie left her burgeoning shuffleboard career to follow her true passion of supporting local businesses. If you engage in conversation with Katie, please be aware that she is extremely addicted to coffee and tends to get overly enthusiastic when talking about music, traveling, and all things Tucson.

Jessica Johnson – Jessica is a New Mexico native that moved to Tucson to work at Beach Fleischman. Jessica always knew that she wanted to work with numbers. As a young girl, she would play the game “store” for fun where she would have fake accounts set up for customers. Oh and she really loves pickles…

Melissa Kerr – While originally from Pennsylvania, Melissa has twice moved across the country, eventually settling in Tucson 7 years ago. Her day job involves creating websites for the tourism industry and in her evenings she mixes her passion for design with her call to social activism and community involvement, having done work for women's rights, local sustainable agriculture and currently with TYP.

Devin Simmons – Devin, President of TYP, has lived in Tucson for over 16 years. A proud graduate of the University of Arizona, he now works at Raytheon Missile Systems as a production manager, and is married to the most beautiful woman in the world. Aside from being a part of the greatest team of young professionals in any community, Devin likes to spend his time reading books with lots of pictures in them, learning Spanish from a cool new app he found, and going to dog training lessons at Petsmart where he recently found out that his dog has pretty much been doing whatever he wants for the last three months.

Allyson Solomon – Tucson's young professional scene isn't the only thing Allyson is passionate about. She finds the weather here to be perfect for the outdoor activities she loves like hiking, running, swimming, and yoga. She is always on the go and her role as government relations director for a local nonprofit keeps her busy and engaged in local politics. How does she do it all? Coffee, lots and lots of coffee!

Michael Sulkowski Michael Sulkowski recently received the coveted award: “UA faculty member who is most likely to be mistaken for being a student.” He moved to Tucson last year after living in a variety of places in the northeast and in gulf region while training to become a psychologist; he is happy to call Tucson his home.

Quick question - I didn't indicate any guests on my RSVP, but if I have one at the last minute, is it alright if I bring them?
