Super Bowl Hike: Phoneline to the Big Rock

It was suggested by a member that we do an afternoon hike before the Super Bowl.   We can work up an appetite for all the munchies that evening.

Let's head out to the Big Rock on the Phoneline Trail.  The entire hike is approximately 5 miles with 600 ft. of elevation gain.  We will hang out at the Big Rock for a short time before returning.  We might also offer sacrifices to the football gods for a Niner's victory.

So, gather up your sense of humor, plenty of water, sun protection, and maybe even a snack and join me for this fun hike.

A great day for a Super Bowl Hike, to a spot where "You will, You did, You Rocked Us ..." and you did with a very nice group of Tucsonions ...

This hike was MUCH more fun than watching some overrated football game! Thanks Don!

Thanks! How long does this particular hike usually take by the way?

Hi Amy, plan on at least 3 hours. It varies depending on the speed of the group and how long we stay at the Big Rock.

We have lots of members on the waiting list. If you are on the attending list and can't make it, please remember to change your RSVP so someone from the waiting list can attend. Thanks!
