I know, it's a corny title, but it snowed today! And when there is snow and rain in the mountains, it's always fun to head over to Seven Falls.
This is an intermediate hike and it is suitable for beginners who are fit. With the recent rain and snow, I would expect water in the creek. There are multiple creek crossings, so be prepared for some rock hoping if necessary. We will be hanging out at the pools for a while so expect this hike to take at least 4 hours.
Distance: approx 8 miles round-trip.
Elevation gain: approx 700 feet
What to bring:
- water (at least 2-3 liters)
- camera (optional)
- an extra pair of socks if you do step in the creek
A parking pass is $5 for the day, or $20 for an annual pass (an extremely good investment).
