I drove to the parking lot at the end of Speedway and got there a few minutes late. The parling lot was empty, except for a person waiting for his partner that gave me a map of the park trails. He told me he had not seen a group leaving, so I waited ten minutes and then took the Garwood trail to the Garwood dam, then Carillo to the steel tank, then three tank to the bridal wreath falls, and then Douglas Spring back to the parking lot by 12:30. Probably you took a differen path because I never coughs up with you.

sorry I missed you. It was a great hike and I really enjoyed it.

This will be an easy pace hike. I plan on making stops at Garwood Dam and Steel Tank for photos. I also want to state that the parking area is at the the very end; on the south side of Speedway. Look for the grey Saturn.

About how long does it take?

    March 3, 2013

    • Paul Y.

Jean and Robin; this will not be a fitness hike. We will move at a comfortable pace, keeping the group to together. The hike will take approx. 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on the group.

What kind of time are you planning for this hike? "fitness" hike? or, would I have time for photos?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
