Let's go to the pool: Mt. Lemmon Pools

We start the hike at Marshall Gulch Trail Head then take Marshall Gulch to the saddle. Once at the saddle we head down Wilderness of Rock Trail. After approximately two miles we head off trail to the pools. There is a short scramble to get down to the pools, not too difficult. Once at the pools we take a break, go for a dip then head back. On the way back we take the Aspen trail and a short diversion to Bill Carter’s secret mountain vista (Very Nice).

Make sure you are physically fit and able to stay with the pack before you sign up for this hike. This hike is strenuous and not for beginners.

There are rustic restrooms at the trail head.

We will meet at La buzz at 7:30 AM and car pool from there to the trail head.

Had a GREAT time and workout today. Thanks to all that attended and to Paul for organizing / leading this hike -- Bob

How long of a hike is it?

    • Bob W.

      Hi Beverly,

      June 9, 2013

    • Bob W.

Beverly, the hike, or time moving, is "about" 4 hours and 30 minutes. This is to cover the time to and from the pools. Then I would add about 1 hour for eating lunch and / or some swimmin' @ the pools. Finally, 50 minutes one way to go up the mountain and 50 minutes to come down. So... I would say we will be back to Le Buzz "around" 2:30 to 3:00 PM -- Bob

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
