Please join me for a nice afternoon hike followed by a margarita. A hiking and social event.
There probably won't be any water running, but the falls is in a cool shaded area. This is an intermediate hike, likely not suitable for beginners. However, the pace will be a little slower. Depending on your personal pace, there may be times when you are hiking alone.
Distance: about 6 miles
Elevation Gain: 1000 feet
What to bring: 2-3 liters of water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, and a flashlight incase we are hiking in the dark.
Trailhead: From Downtown Tucson, take Speedway Blvd Eastbound toward the Rincon mountain range. Speedway dead-ends at the trailhead. There is a small parking lot to the right at the end of the road. If it is full, it is OK to park along the road.
As always: Hike at your own risk.
