Beyond 2012 with Oro Valley & Catalina State Park

  • January 5, 2013 · 8:30 AM
  • Catalina State Park

Come Hike Catalina State Park with us as we remember and move BEYOND the tragedies of January 8, 2011.

Meet at the Chase Bank parking lot across from the entrance to Catalina State Park & receive a wristband good for discounted admission into the Park.

Date:                January 5, 2013
Time:                8:30 a.m.

We will have two family friendly hiking distances available:
1)         Canyon Loop trail                                             Distance:          3 mile loop
2)         Sutherland Trail to Sutherland Wash                  Distance:          5.2 miles round trip.

BEYOND events are being celebrated across the greater Pima County area. The Zimmerman family launched this annual event last year to honor Gabe Zimmerman, who lost his life in the terrible shootings of January 8, 2011 but whose spirit lives on in the great outdoors. We remember everyone who lost their life as well as those whose lives have been changed forever. Please get out and live to honor them!

Also check out the Reptile/Wildlife Exhibit program while you are there! Volunteer Jim “the Snake Man” Cloer and his crew of volunteer assistants enchant visitors at the park trail head with a menagerie of reptiles, arachnids, and animals who inhabit the Sonoran Desert.

The exhibit will run from 9 am – Noon on January 5th  at Main Trailhead parking area at Catalina State Park, weather permitting Contact Lynanne Dellerman at [masked]

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
