“ Put me in a digital media sharing mindset. Going to add a page on my website dalebruder.com with links to my recently published articles. I'm looking for more interaction and sharing in the meetings. I was very surprised that gangplank was so shakey in teched-upness. Though I'm past this phase, there's plenty of getting published confidence builders out there, like biznik.com. They surprised me early on by promoting a featurette I'd submitted months before. It was an auspicious acknowledgement at the right time. Bottom line advice for writers is that writers are people who have something to write about. I've identified my writing flow is three days of research, interviews, thinking then write[masked] words on the fourth day. Get the tech part handled at gangplank; back up equipment, screen to projector ratio distance, stuff like that. ”

“ Thanks PABlo! It was an excellent evening and I am so glad to become associated with creative people again. I look forward to regular attendance and gathering all the "nuggets" of wisdom from a true expert as well as hearing what others are doing. Meanwhile I will be writing. What an invitation for catharsis and reflection with like minded people. Who could ask for anything more. ”

“ I enjoyed this meeting because of the helpful tech info that Pablo was disseminating. I will not be attending the next one on query letters, as I am already past that issue - been there, done that. But, I will be interested in future meetups. If people are looking for critique groups, a good one to join id the Pima Writers' meetup. They meet two times a month and critique each other's work. ”

I enjoyed the people, and I look forward to seeing this group grow and become woven into a rich tapestry of people that reflects the world in which we live. “ This was the first time I attended a Tucson Writers Workshop and Meetup Group. I have just begun to think of myself as a writer. So, you could say I'm a newbie. Even though the meetup was jammed packed with information I didn't feel lost nor intimidated. I'm very appreciative of the efforts PABlo puts into running this Group!!! ”

“ Response to today's great question: As a writer, I am looking to turn our attention inwards. I am looking to make the inner life known. I am looking to direct our attention and focus inward, becaue it is the place where our lives begin. My intention is consistent with the thought that energy follows thought and with in the beginning was The Word. I am my word made flesh. This is what I am accomplishing as a writer. This is what I am looking to accomplish as a human being. As a writer, my subject matter is the inner life. I am focused upon bringing my self-concept in line with Einstein's E=MC2, and as above so below. As a writer, I write to get my audienced in touch with their trurer self, the inner self. ”
— Keith on Jul 24, 2010.

“ It's where you want to go when you want to do more than say, "I'm a writer." When you're ready to become your dreams, this might be one step towards your goals. Writers write, authors are published. If you'd like to be an author who writes, this is a good place to begin the journey. ”

“ Seems a good group. Trying to work out if you have any online forums as I am a bit of a way away. I am interested in talking to anyone with knowledge of or an interest in Tucson between 1856 and 1862 as I am writing a novel set then with halfbreed 13 yr old as principal character and am trying to build a model of the town at that period. Duncan ”
