Meet with those wanting to make new friends while practicing their Turkish skills in Washington, DC! Turkish expats and students of Turkish all welcome!

Our Meetups consist of a biweekly session to learn Turkish vocabulary and grammar. Also, we have biweekly Happy Hours to practice Turkish (Inglizce yok - that is, "No English," meaning we force ourselves as best as possible to use the Turkish we're learning and know), and a monthly brunch to do the same. Occasionally there are cultural events we publicize, too.

Our sponsor is Presse Bookstore in Georgetown - please consider making your book purchases there (for example, instead of superstore Amazon).

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
