About The Meetup
Anytime you buy a house to flip, you have some inherent risk including:
- Going Over Budget
- Housing Market Could Fall
- Buyer's Can Back out
- Inspection Problems, and much more.
All of these risks are factored into the price that an investor has to pay to make a profit. All of this due diligence is a huge part of being profitable in the business. On this particular project, however, something came up that was so unexpected that it was hardly anything more than a passing though. Something so huge that it could have been disastrous, and I'm not talking about a ten or twenty thousand dollar issue here . At this Meetup, Tom will discuss:
1. What happened that was so unexpected
2. How Ocean City dealt with it
3. The lessons that we learned from the experience
4. And finally, how you can use our lessons so that you never have to be in a similar position.
Tom is a principle of Ocean City Development and is head of acquisitions. Tom has been on the front lines of Ocean City Development's team, and has acquired over 23 properties to fix and flip over the past 6 months.
