"Why are New Englanders so rude" is the number one ranked searched term related to the people in our region. This common misconception, I believe, is due to a culture that has taught us to be efficient with our own time and to respect others. The flip side to this efficiency is commonly seen at many networking events. Plain and simple: most New Englanders don't know how to network. They are too polite to waste someone else's time, and often wait for someone to walk up to them. Learn how to easily become the person that everyone wants to talk to, and the financial and personal benefits that come with it. Event Topic: Networking For New Englanders: Make a Friend & Some Money Too

At the event, Tom Cafarella of Ocean City Development, will discuss:

1. What networking is(and what it is not)
2. Why you always need to network
3. How to make networking completely comfortable
4. Determining where you should network and how to find the events

Tom is a principle of Ocean City Development and is head of acquisitions. Tom has been on the front lines of Ocean City Development's team, and has helped his team to acquire over 24 properties in the past 6 months including both fix and flip and buy and hold transactions.

So the meeting is at 35 South Ave. In Melrose?

This meeting is in melrose. Our event locations are not 100 percent until about one week prior to the event taking place(because of construction delays). Sometimes we need to move the location to another property, but we always change the date at least 7 days prior to the event. All of our events are within 30 minutes of Boston, and 90 percent they are north of Boston.

Again this ( confusing part ), is still in the body of the message: Location: This Boston-North Meetup location will located at our latest renovation: 1 Ashdale Road, Lynnfield, MA. This is an open invitation with no fees, and all that we ask is that you rsvp on our page prior to the event.

Environment: We will have an informal environment, including food and refreshments fully catered by The Farmland in Wakefield .
Perhaps you can remove or change it?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
