This is a FREE guided walking tour to explore the sights and sounds in and around the Woolwich district in South-East London.
We will meet outside Woolwich Arsenal DLR station at 1 pm, and will wait 10 minutes for anyone who's late.
From Woolwich Arsenal, we will explore the area before heading West to the Thames Barrier. We will be taking in the architectural and historic sights along the way. The tour will last approximately 3 hours, and we can all go for a drink thereafter.
Hope to see you there!
__Why you should go__
Even if you have "been there before", this walk is different! The walk is designed to be eye-opening for everyone - yes, even if you have lived and breathed London all your life.
Also, walking is hugely beneficial to your health. You probably don't need me to tell you that.
Finally, we are a great group that you would love to have a pleasant social walk with!
