Ultimate Frisbee

Let's meet up and play Ultimate Frisbee! For those of you that haven’t played before, Ultimate Frisbee is a great game that is played outdoors and works well with mixed teams. All you require is a frisbee, a pair of legs for running, and one or more hands for catching. It is a non-contact sport. Team sizes are flexible, but to get a good game it would be ideal to have 8+ people RSVP (all abilities welcome). After the meet up, I propose we go for a drink at a nearby pub.

I'm keeping this page alive! Sarah and I are grabbing coffee at this new place that I'm dying to check out near oxford street. Come along even if you've never been to the frisbee game!

The question you gotta ask yourself is 'why not?' #yolo

Thanks everyone for coming last night. I had a good time - I hope you did too. I will organise another meetup for next wednesday. I think we should try a different venue with a bit more space - maybe Green Park or Hyde Park. Either way, I will let you know!

Had a bunch of meetings which rescheduled late, and I didn't bring any sports gear to come out with. Regretting it but what can you do! I'll definitely be coming next time. Have fun guys

Hi everyone, I am looking forward to Frisbee on Wednesday. It is great that so many people have joined the group! I only have 1 frisbee, so if anyoen else has one please bring it along as I think we might end up with more than 1 game. Let's meet in the middle of the park outside the Cafe from 6.20 onwards. If possible, please bring a white top to make splitting the teams easier. If the meetup proves a success, I will happily buy some bibs or funky headbands! Look forward to meeting you, Ollie.

Also, just to clarify the Café we are meeting outside is in the centre of St James Park - it is called "Inn the Park". There are some benches outside by the lake we cna emet there - I have tried to indicate roughly with the marker on the map above! If we get a good game there should be quite a bit of running - so come prepared!

Not sure if this is a bit of a stupid question, but.. Should we wear normal clothes or gym-type clothes? Never played before so no idea how physical it is or anything!

    April 16, 2014

    • Andrew

I will be wearing gym gear

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
