The Horniman (pronounced 'haw-nih-mun' if you were wondering...) Museum specialises in anthropology, natural history and musical instruments and has a collection of 350,000 objects. One of its most famous exhibits is the large collection of stuffed animals.
Next to the museum, 16 acres of Gardens offer beautiful views across London and are perfect for spotting urban wildlife, architectural treasures, or just a good place to unwind. Entrance to the museum and gardens is free of charge, but for this reason they can get pretty busy at weekends so I will have to limit spaces for this event to 45 (divided between this group and Social Londoners).
Meeting point will be outside Forest Hill station between 11:45 and 11:55 am. The museum is a 5-10 minute walk from the station. We will break for lunch at about 1:30 - there is a cafe at the museum, but you may prefer to bring your own food which we can eat outside if the weather is decent. My number for the day is 07594960356. Hope to see you there :)
