Cemetery Hill Picnic Lunch

A weekend picnic!
Rain or shine (or snow or whatever)
 - dress appropriately for weather conditions!

Oheyawahi / Pilot Knob Preservation Area

"What a strange contrast in every particular did it present to the grave-yards of the civilized world! Not one of all this multitude had died in peace, or with a knowledge of the true God. Here were no sculptured monuments, no names, no epitaphs;—nothing but solitude and utter desolation." - Charles Lanman

Saturday, October 26th
All Ages.

At Pilot Knob Road + Acacia Boulevard, alongside Acacia Cemetery, the road says NO OUTLET, and a gated barrier says STOP; it looks appropriately foreboding. There is a small parking area near the trail entrance.

You may bring a dish to share, if you wish!
Or, bring a meal as suits your own dietary needs.

One of the few weekends that I have to work on Saturday -- I would have come for sure otherwise. Sounds like fun... enjoy!

Sounds like fun. Are we bringing dishes to share, or should we each bring our own food?

I actually don't eat mushrooms either (despite being vegetarian), so no worries there. I was thinking home made falafel (sp?) or some kind of soup since it's likely to be chilly. I think I've got a big thermos somewhere.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
