Took a walk at Woodlake Park in Richfield. It's one of my favorite places.

It is beginning to look vaguely reminiscent of winter... but remember, it is still 'oficially' autumn until the 21st. Doesn't that make you feel warmer? Yeah, I thought it would.
I try to not send WAY TOO MANY eMails, since that can get to be pretty annoying, and maybe err on the side of not sending enough. I know that the MeetUp.com site sends its own announcements and reminders, and it can all add up rather quickly. If these occasional messages are still too many, please just unsubscribe from the mailing list, and don't flag them as Junk.
That said, YOU TOO can use the mailing list. You can send an eMail to [address removed] and it will be sent to everyone who is signed up to recieve it.
Or, you may prefer to communicate via the message board - it's great! We can all get to know each other a little better.
Remember to sign in once in a while to keep your account active & not deleted! It makes me sad when group members are removed, something which the MeetUp.com site does automatically.
Even better, come out and meet some freaks!
This IS one of those "social networking" sites (technicalities...). But here we try to escape the bluish glow of the computer monitor once in a while, and go exploring that real-world thing out there. It can be difficult at first, if you are shy (yes, some of us are), but it does get easier. Really!
From the Calendar of Events...
Loitering at the DeathMall
Sunday, December 7th, at the Mall of America.
For the love of spectacle & overstimulation!
Definitely on December 17th, the 3rd Wednesday of the month (as per usual).
Also, the 21st of January.
Still solidifying Where, exactly.
& In the Far Distant Future...
A field trip!
Saturday, January 31st, to the LeDuc Estate in Hastings.
William LeDuc was an American Gothic in the early days of Minnesota's settlement. He built his estate on the fringes of Hastings, where it remains preserved as a museum. Carpooling to this event is highly recommended.
There are also innumerable concerts going on around the 'Cities, which you can find noted on the Calendar. There are also Holidays & Observances of all kinds, which is consistently incomplete (someone is celebrating something very nearly every day).
See here :
You can always eMail me with comments or suggestions, questions, things that ought to be added to the calendar or to the local resources links (in our "About Us" pages), or just to say hey.
p.s. Remember to RSVP for events, even if just to say that you will not be there (though we would love to see you there... sometimes it is not possible). It is a great way to keep your account active & not deleted.
Please Note: If you hit "REPLY", your message will be sent to everyone on this mailing list ([address removed])
