Whatever Happened to Hibernation?
As if to prove all old assumptions wrong, this February seems to be among the busiest in memory.
Between environmental realities & economic uncertainties, perhaps it is more than mere meteorological considerations that makes the air of the present climate seem harsher than a Minnesota Winter ought to be. It may be a different sort of comfort we seek when we leave our burrows of blankets, and go out into this world of wind & ice. Music has a heartening effect, if not cheering, then cathartic.
Or, it may simply be for the pure joy of music perfomed before our very eyes!
