The purpose of the Twin Cities Wine Club Meetup Group is to allow the Twin Cities an opportunity to experience quality wine through various wine tasting events. Some of the events we will conduct will be BYOB to restaurants that wave the corkage fee for us. Each event will have a theme so we can try a wide range of wine from around the world.

John Glas of Wineglas is the only wine educator in Minnesota who offers 3 wine experiences. I offer the Twin Cities Wine Club, Minneapolis Wine Club and the Private Minneapolis Wine Club which some of my students have graduated to this level.

While the other clubs in town belittle you with the lowest denomination wine, the Twin Cities Wine Club & the Minneapolis Wine Club stand strong and don't take free crap! If you are a Food & Wine Show Regular please find another club as I will expose you to quality wine and teach you how to taste like a pro.

The Twin Cities Wine Club will advertise free tastings at various wine shops throughout the Twin Cities. Recently I attended a tasting where they were pouring several $30 plus bottles and it was free!

With a master degree in education with a focus on learning styles I use the best techniques to teach people the world of wine. Any great wine teacher will tell you the best way to learn is to try wine via price point comparisons.

All of my events will be fun and group interaction is essential!

As a wine reviewer I study wines extensively and will only assemble wine events that meet the highest standards.
