I Hate Hamlet at the Theatre Garage

I hate Hamlet.  Doesn't everyone? Evidently so since they made a play about it.  Tickets are $20 regularly, but are available through Goldstar for $10 (plus a $3.50 service fee).

Here's the link to the event on Goldstar's website: I Hate Hamlet (at 1/2 price).

We'll meet in the lobby about 1/2 before the 7:30 show and then head on in.  If anyone is interested in food let me know.  It's Cinco de Mayo, so we should probably behold a Margarita (or 2) after the show.

Here's the info:

The raucous comedy I Hate Hamlet tells the fast-paced and funny story of a successful and happy TV actor whose entire life is upended when his series is cancelled. Hoping to impress his virginal girlfriend, he reluctantly heads to New York to play Hamlet in Central Park -- a role he's not at all fond of -- and soon finds himself not only haunted by his decision, but by the actual ghost of the legendary Shakespearean actor John Barrymore. Written by Paul Rudnick (Jeffrey, In & Out, Addams Family Values), the play was a hit on Broadway and nominated for a Tony Award. Shadowplay Theatre's version is directed by and stars Peter Moore.

I won't have a meetup sign, name tags, or other silliness. Instead, I'll let them know up front at both Red Dragon and Theatre Garage that we're there. Just ask for TC Comedy and Wine and they should be able to point us out.

If you haven't bought your ticket yet, don't forget Goldstar. $13.50 with handling fee vs. $20 at the door.
Also, if you don't want dinner, still come on over the the Red Dragon for some pre show libations.
Here's my phone in case you can't find us: [masked]. That's a number that forwards to my cell, so you can't text it, but you can certainly call it.
