Do you like ballroom and Latin dancing, but are self-conscious on the dance floor? We are a group that is dedicated to learning International Ballroom dancing whch covers only 10 dances.  You will be learning how to waltz, cha cha, foxtrot, quick step, rumba, tango, samba and jive, etc. 

We are primarily a group for beginners, but ballroom dancers of all levels are welcome and can benefit. 

Weekly lessons are held at a central location on the Bloor-Danforth subway line, just steps from a subway station. You don't need to bring a partner. You will find one in class.

Classes are $5.00 fee to cover the cost of our administrative expenses.

The classes are led by John, a professional dance instructor, who volunteers his time to help others learn how to ballroom dance. He is giving back to the community where he has thrived as both a dancer and public communications specialist.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: John has taught ballroom and Latin dance for many years. He is known for his ability to convey dance steps in a pleasant, clear, plain language fashion that makes it easy to learn and remember the steps.

Slow Waltz

Viennese Waltz

Tango (not Argentine Tango!)

Quick Step

Slow Fox Trot

Ballroom Latin Dances

Rumba

Cha Cha ( not night club Cha Cha!)

Jive (not the various traditional forms of Swing!)

Samba (not solo Samba dancing!)
