Hello Dancers:

TwoRightFeet Meetup member and dance enthusiast Esmond has just given me an update on another transportation option to get to Scarborough Civic Centre on Sunday, Oct. 30 for the Swing Shift Band concert.  (It would be great opp to practise your moves on the dance floor learned over the last while.)

As you know, I had offered to give a ride to those who wanted one and would mean I could pick you up (3 persons maximum) at York Mills Subway station at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30 for the 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. concert.  (I haven't so far received offers from any other drivers to the same!)

So Esmond has researched how to get to Scarborough Civic Centre especially for downtown folks using the TTC.  Here's his advice:

Getting to the Scarborough Civic Centre by TTC is relatively easy and
takes about 40 minutes from Yonge and Bloor.

* Take the Bloor-Danforth subway line eastbound to Kennedy, the last station.

* Transfer to the Scarborough LRT and get off at the Scarborough
Centre Station.

* Exit the station, turn right and walk 100 metres to the Scarborough
Civic Centre.

There are no refreshments for sale, just a drinking fountain. So
bring your own water bottle or drinks if you'll need them.

Note to New Meetup Members who have only attended only 1 or 2 (or no classes at all).

Please be on the lookout for another email from me later this week about a special half-hour (1/2 hr.) session for you that will take place BEFORE THE REGULAR START TIME at each week's meetup.  This email will also be of interest to those who attend regularly.
