Chris Gomersall , CEO of Acunu says "It's a privilege to be joining the Acunu team. The team has secured some powerful early wins on the back of some truly phenomenal technology. Big Data as a trend, and Acunu's approach to delivering real-time insight in particular, has the potential to transform how people do business and connect with each other. I believe Acunu is absolutely the hottest Big Data company in Europe and I look forward to leading the company to the next level."

Gomersall most recently served as VP EMEA at ServiceNow. He has spent his career in a range of executive and management positions. He sits on the board of Ipsotek. Recent positions include VP EMEA PolyServe and CEO Ipsoteck. Earlier in his career he was with Tivoli, Peregrine, Oracle and Sequent.

Mark Farmer, of Eden Ventures, said that the board unanimously selected Gomersall based on his track record for leading developing organizations, as well as his strong executive and personal qualities. “He brings both a strong track record and a wealth of experience in building cohesive high-functioning teams,” Farmer said.
