Kanikapila Island Strummers  – Ocean Buffet - Garland, TX (NEW VENUE!!!)

September 10, 2013 · 7:00 PM
• Ocean Buffet

Our monthly celebration of Hawaiian music and culture celebrates its 24th month (that’s two years, folks!) in September, as we continue to pay homage to all things Hawaiian, and as we look forward to celebrating another 24 months of good times with our Kanikapila Ohana (Family - and friends) ~ Hawaiian Style! We urge all Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Ukulele Players to come join the fun!   There’s always a little something for everybody!!!  Kanikapila literally means“play music”and we’d like all you kanes and wahine to come join us, kick back, relax, be yourself and just take it easy. We’ll take a look at a few Hawaiian words and phrases and the Hawaiian alphabet, and sing a few Hawaiian songs!
The Aloha Spirit is alive and well in Texas!!!
Space is limited to 50 participants.
