We have been offering the FREE Beginners Workshop since February of 2009 and had great success!
Now it's time to take it a step further...
This will be a JAM SESSION for Beginners with Beginners in mind.
Come and learn new songs, some from our JAM BOOK (which can be found on the meetup site under files - Scroll down through other songs and find Song Book[masked].) Some songs on the overhead projector or some songs may be in a separate song file to be printed by you ahead of time.
These will all be songs that are geared towards the beginner, so don't be intimidated! Everyone will be able to play these tunes!
We will have 15 Jam Books that we will bring so if you don't want to print the song book you can borrow one of ours.
If you’ve never attended a Jam before, COME! We have had LOTS of new members, some who have been members for over a year, now is the time – take action – have FUN!
Come, enjoy a FABULOUS Saturday Italian lunch, bring your Uke, meet other Ukulele players and learn something FUN, NEW and EASY!
These yummy, HOT, Garlic Buttery rolls are COMPLIMENTARY with your meal - and OH SO GOOD!
We will leisurely begin. We are going to slow down our jam so that everyone can practice forming the chords and the transitions.
Sounds complicated? REALLY it’s not.
11:30am - Arrive, find a good seat, settle in and order your lunch, dessert or beverage of your choice.
12:30pm - Jam to Begin
2:00pm - Wrap
One of our members - Diana Day says, "I LOVE these. Everyone from beginner to expert is so kind. You can't help but leave with a big grin. The Levine's are hilarious, as well as, those who make jokes back at them. It is a loving, sharing, supportive group of fine people. I encourage all who can to participate in this FUN, FUN Uke Club!"
Come join us for our Beginners SLOW Jam and find out about the JOYS of playing the Ukulele.
