Dear Past & Future Parade Participant,
On behalf of the Ann Arbor Jaycees 4th of July Parade, I would like to inform you that registration is now open for the 2013 Ann Arbor Jaycees 4th of July Parade! Please see the attached registration form. We would prefer that you fill this out electronically and return to us via email to [address removed].
Our Parade Information Page is currently under construction and will be ready very soon. Throughout the planning this year, we will update that page as we have new details. The Parade Information Page will be on www.a2jaycees.org and very easy to find.
Commercial and Political entries will be required to pay a $25 participant fee. Those groups may either send a check to The Ann Arbor Jaycees Foundation, 4th of July Parade, PO Box 1866, Ann Arbor, MI 48106 or pay via PayPal athttp://a2jcf.org/Parade.
We would really like to encourage your group to show your patriotism this year. To reward groups that put in the extra effort, we will be giving out a $250 prize to the organization (non-commercial, non-political) that shows the most "spirited" entry. Our theme this year is Parade of Stars.
Please note that entries must be received by June 26. Entries received after that date may NOT make it into the Parade.
Thanks for your time and I hope to see you all again in 2013!
Welcome to Tree Town Ukes (formerly, the Ann Arbor Ypsilanti Ukulele Group Meetup)
We gather on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7:30 p.m. All ages and levels are welcome. If you are a beginner, don't worry... This is a very friendly and inclusive group, and this is a wonderful place to learn to chords and techniques, to get some practice and to meet some ukulele addicted friends!
It's also a great place to play something solo that you've been working on. We are an appreciative and supportive audience for anything ukulele!
Music is posted under the "More" tab at the top of the page (First click "More," then click "Files"). If there's a song you'd like the group to play, please post it there a few days before the meetup.
See you at Oz's Music, 1920 Packard St., Ann Arbor.
