RE: [ultimatefrisbee-166] August 3rd Cookout Update

Chad,

I know this was a great idea that you had set-up as well. Great timing of the weather day of the season, and with queen music it made it most like a rocking party. The cooking was done by “Mr. Chef Chadd” awesome, and can I hire you for a side party to do the same for me.

The only think I just want to make sure is that the reason why you CHAD were slow on the Frisbee field? Was that due to the too much sitting down cooking, or was that due also you just being too old to catch up to Doug on the field? I give all the Frisbee lay-out props to Doug for his laying out, and well it over a few people what he just burned to the grass with the stains on all 3 of his shirts. He was even doing so good he took the shirt off to flex for us. Just as Tony did say though he was scared to play “D” on him, or he was just a little non gym-shoe tired. I was thinking all about this and I am confused as to what happened.

Great cookout time by all, and yes it should happen again!

Maybe next time I can do some wonderful Frisbee singing for us as well. Doug are you in for that too?

Best wishes to all!

Thanks,

Kenny Jarosz

Everyone:

I just wanted to thank everyone for their involvement in yesterday's meetup and cookout. Special kudos to John, for his bleu burgers (which killed me later that day...too good), Colleen for her pretzel candy things (delicious), and Chris for his incredible dip (totally need that recipe).

Yesterday would not have been what it was if it weren't for everyone's involvement and commitment to making it happen.

Because of the enormous outcry I heard for another rendition of the BBQ starring the Schaumburg Ultimate Frisbee Meetup group, I imagine we'll have another soon enough. I think whenever our last game of the season is (probably in September or October, depending on if my spandex warm-suit still fits) we'll have another cookout as a way to say goodbye until next spring, or hello to still getting together every once and a while for a drink or a pile of buffalo wings.

Next time I'll be sure to organize things a little more clearly so we don't have 40 hot dog buns for a total of 8 consumed hot dogs...and I'll just bring my big grill instead of the tiny Smokey Joe.

I hope to see everyone next Sunday, and part of everyone this Thursday.

Thanks once again for everyone's help in making this possible, it could not have been done without your interest and commitment. Pat yourself on the back, or have someone near you pat you on the back: job well done.

Regards, and, until next time;

Chadd
