THIS WAS USED FOR MEMORIAL DAY, JUST CHANGE THE DATE AND EVENT NAME (IF NOT MEMORIAL DAY), AND ENTRANCE IF IT HAS CHANGED. ALSO CHANGE THE LINK TO THE EVENT PAGE.

It's my favorite time of year! Our get together's are legendary! College kids are gonna be back, summer will be in full swing, and it's time to spend an entire day socializing, drinking, and playing ultimate!

This memorial day (5/26) at the Higgins Entrance to Busse we are having our regular holiday picnic plus ULTIMATE! There seems to have been some confusion in the past whereas individuals did not realize that we do PLAY. Bring cleats, extra clothes, white/dark, aqua, chairs, umbrellas, dogs, cats, or tigers. We pull between 40 - 75 members for these awesome events. You can show up whenever you want and leave whenever you want. You can just play, just eat, just drink, or do any combination of the three.

We have had as many as three games going on at once. We play before we cook, work up an appetite, eat too much, and struggle to drag our lazy butts back to the line. It's a joyous occasion.

We prefer to collaborate for the event asking everyone to bring a few items. Bring a package of hamburgers, or a few bags of chips, some homemade cookies, or whatever you want to share with everyone. Don't feel like dealing with that? We ask you donate $5 and we use the monies to run to the store and buy a few additional items. Not eating? Not eating? Still donate $5 because we also have costs like keeping up this website- through which you're currently finding out about this event (via the site email function), so it's kind of important! As a group we don't charge for membership, and these are the only events that help us afford costs. It's a win-win; can you eat $5 worth of hot dogs and cookies? I think so!

Bring your own drinks, water, and alcohol. NO GLASS

The event officially starts at 10:00 A.M and goes till 5:00 P.M. Members will be there earlier securing and setting up fields and most of the time there is always a group that hangs around the fields till almost sundown.

As always, everyone is welcome. Bring the family, the kids, the puppies, and friends.

Please RSVP and let us know what foodies (if any) you intend to bring (it helps keep things organized).

Also, all this info can all be found on our MeetUp page- ADD LINK TO EVENT HERE

Hope to see you out there,
Nagel

LAST POST WAS MAIN EVENT EMAIL, THIS IS JUST A REMINDER EMAIL. AGAIN, ONLY HAVE TO CHANGE THE EVENT NAME AND DATE, AND ENTRANCE IF IT HAS CHANGED. ALSO ADD LINK TO THE EVENT PAGE.

Hey Everyone,

Here's a reminder that we're having our typical Memorial Day cookout / ultimate game, this Monday 5/26, starting around 10 AM (food around noon). RSVP here - LINK TO THE EVENT PAGE

We will be at the Higgins Entrance for this.

This is one of the few events we put on that we ask people to bring either food to share or $5 cash; we will be heading out to go grab additional food with these funds, to make up for whatever picnic staples are lacking.

There should be one or two grills going, and past holidays we've had some non-ultimate games going, like volleyball / whiffleball / etc.

See you on the field,
Nagel

THIS WAS THE ACTUAL MEETUP EVENT PAGE

Hey hey everyone!!! It's getting to be that time of the year!!

Come one, come all to celebrate America in all its glory by playing some ultimate and eating a bunch of food while hanging out with friends and family on Friday July 4. It's another rare chance to get away from work and play ultimate on a day you'd normally have to send out some TPS reports or count your flair!!!

Bring cleats, extra clothes in dark and white, chairs, umbrellas, pets and any games you may want to play outside of just playing ultimate. People have brought KanJam and wickets before so there's always something for you to do. We average 50-70 members for these awesome events so you're sure to run into old friends and potentially make some new ones. You can show up whenever you want and leave whenever you want. You can just play, just eat, just drink, or do any combination of the three.
As usual, the festivities will kick off at 10am and go on until we get kicked off the fields/voluntarily leave because we're suffering from heat stroke. We'll play until about noon, take a break to grill out and eat some great food and then continue playing until about 5-6pm.

We've gotten up to 3 games going at one time before so there's never a shortage of playing time for you!
We prefer to collaborate for the event asking everyone to bring a few items. Bring a package of hamburgers, or a few bags of chips, some homemade cookies, or whatever you want. Don't feel like dealing with that and still wanna eat? Donate $5 and we use the monies to run to the store and buy a few additional items as well as to cover the permit costs just because we don't want to get ticketed again for being rebels. Not eating? Still donate $5 because we also have costs like keeping up this website- through which you're currently finding out about this event, so it's kind of important! As a group we don't charge for membership, and these are the only events that help us afford costs. It's a win-win; can you eat $5 worth of hot dogs and cookies? I think so!
We'll send out updates leading up to the day if there are any changes so please look out for any emails from us in the near future.

Bring your own drinks, water, and alcohol.
