This group is open to all Philosophical Twin Citians. The fundamental purpose of this group is: To progress toward a shared philosophical Understanding, among the participants, of the topic at hand. We will concentrate on defining terms, examining assumptions, constructing reasonable arguments & helpful analogies, and other useful methods for achieving this goal. Meetings will be based upon a group discussion about a specific topic selected by the group participants. Any and all topics which can be treated philosophically are game. Hopefully, together we can create a vibrant and comfortable atmosphere in which we can exchange and expand our knowledge, inquiry, arguments, beliefs, and Understanding of Philosophy. We also encourage individuals to present topics. Anyone interested in presenting a topic or sharing the duties of organizing and managing the group and the meetings: let us know.
