Portland has a rich jazz history. Join me on a cool evening walk to explore some places that have been hot spots for jazz in Portland for years and learn about the history of jazz and segregation in Portland.
We'll meet in front of Wilf's as it's the easiest area to park. From there, we'll head downtown to our first destination and our first taste of live music.
We will continue the evening, stopping by two other historic jazz spots, to hear a couple groups that have been on the Portland scene for years. In addition to hearing some great music, we'll get to experience three completely different venue styles.
There should be plenty of parking at this time of night and meters go offline at 7pm.
All events leave promptly at time indicated. Bring rain gear if it rains.
Cost of tour is $22 which includes walking tour and cover charges at all of the venues. You are responsible for your food and drink.
